Who We Are

Lite-Step is a small team of dedicated individuals who believe in fostering long term partnerships based on integrity and professionalism. We may be a new company, but we have deep roots in our background in commercial reforestation, and a solid footing in our current reclamation planting operations. And of course, we take an interest in new and developing techniques and technologies that make our world a greener place.

Lite-Step holds a SECOR (Small Employer Certificate of Recognition) with Partners in Injury Reduction, and is an account holder with IS Networld.

The world needs more trees and we are happy to help make that happen! With experience planting everything from White Spruce to Willow, within spec to either forestry or reclamation guidelines, we can implement your reforestation plan.

MPB Control

Mountain Pine Beetle Control

Alberta’s lodgepole pine is under threat of infestation from the mountain pine beetle! It’s a search and destroy mission! Arm Saws and Sleds! Attack! With several seasons of MPB Control under our (falling) belts, we are pleased to be a small part of a larger program that seeks to ensure the long term success of Alberta’s forests.

Great things often have small beginnings. We have the knowledge and experience to find the seeds that will one day be apart of a healthy forest ecosystem.
